In a beautiful period full leather binding, boards with ornate gilt-stamped devices. a.e.g, smooth spine with gilt-stamped devices. Gilt inner dentelles. Profusely illustrated with 50 fine steel-engraved plates. In VG+ condition, binding tight, some small chipping at head of spine. Mostly clean binding, very bright and visually appealing. Some minor light spotting internally. Wonderfully detailed plates, including funeral of Napoleon, many astoundingly detailed interior scenes (some with well over 50 people!), a circus, etc.
Large volume measures 9 " W x 11" H. 228 pp.
