A mid-19th century two volume set of green marble paper covered bindings. Ex-libris. Smooth spines in five gilt ruled compartments, gilt titles on contrasting orange leather labels, white ex-library numbers; spines, overall, rubbed and volume one is chipped at spine tail. Boards rubbed, corners bumped. Bindings tight and sound.
Mostly clean internally, light scattered foxing throughout. Library plates have been removed from inside front boards, volume two still has the circulation pocket; previous owners inscriptions on f.f.e. Text obviously in French.
Books measure c. 7 1/8" H x 4 5/8".
