A mid 19th century period binding with tan leather spine. Smooth spine in gilt-ruled compartments; leather very gently rubbed at extremities. Blue paper covered boards are printed with the title on the front board and reviews of the book from various newspapers on the rear board; paper worn at board corners and soiled on the top of boards but overall remaining quite clean. Front joint cracked at head; in all, well preserved for a textbook of this vintage. Binding tight and sound. Mostly clean internally, light scattered foxing mostly on the endpages.
Book measures c. 4 1/2" W x 7" H. 234 pp.
