240 pp. Early 1/2 leather binding, spine worn and mostly perished, front board detached. A scarce religious & poetry book printed in Portsmouth, NH at the beginning of the 19th century. Book appears to be slightly defective, lacking 1 pp. text and 1 pp. having a small square cut away from the text area. Lacks front free fly leaf. Some minor overall toning, but text block remains tight and paper still supple. It appears this work is composed of separate issues, each of which could stand alone.
Book measures c. 5 1/4"W x 8 1/4"H. Scarce in any condition. A nice Portsmouth imprint.
