Part One, Romano-British Remains: 297 pp. Part Two, Romano-British Remains: 335 pp. A nice two volume set with blue cloth boards and brown leather spines. Gilt title within gilt box on smooth spine, publisher's gilt pictorial logo at spine tail; leather slightly worn down spine and joints but gilt remains bright, leather is supple. Boards bright and clean, leather is gilt-ruled. Bindings tight and sound. Top edge gilt, deckled edges. Mostly clean internally, volume two has a browned rectangular shape to the title page where it appears a piece of acidic newspaper was left over time. Piece of ephemera stating "The next volume of The Gentlemen's Magazine Library will be that on Literary Curiosities and Notes." Books measures c. 9 1/4" H x 6".
