Later custom binding, red cloth with title in gilt. Astronomical almanac, followed by several pages of news, history, and anecdotes. Lacks first leaf. Pages are evenly toned with age, first 3 pages show restoration at the corner.
Measures c. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2." A handwritten note at the front states "this is probably a New London (Conn.) issue, not Providence." Certainly an uncommon almanac.
