Beautiful example of Venetian bookbinding from the 1st half of the 19th century. Leather is actually a dark green.
Two volumes bound as one in period Venetian 1/4 leather binding, gilt title, attractive gilt-embossed devices, and contrasting leather spine label.
Measures c. 4" x 6 1/4".
In VG+ condition, only gently worn, binding sound, internally clean. A nice example of this very scarce imprint.
