Rapports de l'Homme - 1824
Very attractive two volume set in period French 1/4 leather bindings, extensive gilt titles, rules and decorative devices on spines, contrasting red leather spine labels, marbled boards. Nice shelf appearance. Each volume measures c. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4". In VG+ condition, only very gently worn, bindings sound and tight, internally minor light scattered foxing. A couple of circular blind and rubber stamps from a former Seminary ownership, not offensive in any way. A well preserved example of this very scarce imprint.
