Lovely set in period full smooth calf, elaborately gilt spines.
Some internal foxing.
Four volume set in period leather bindings, gilt titles in red leather spine labels, 85 copper engraved animal plates.
In VG+ condition, gently worn, some minor chipping at the head of the volumes, bindings tight, some foxing, attractive shelf appearance.
Each volume measures approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2." Volume 1: 287 pages, volume 2: 291 pages, volume 3: 302 pages, volume 4: 318 pages.
Very uncommon/ scarce so nice.
