A Forest Hymn 1860 by Bryant

Illustrations by John A. Nums. Profusely illustrated. 32 pages. Full leather; gilt lettering, gilt-embossed design on cover; gilt spine with raised bands. Binding displays a bit of gentle rubbing and wear at extremities, but overall still appealing and a very fine example of book binding artistry unique to this era. An uncommon binding thus. In VG+ antiquarian condition, some gentle spotting/ foxing internally which is not severe or detracting visually. Measures c. 7" W x 9 1/2" H.
